In line with the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment at Mansoura National University to enhancing practical skills and research competence, the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology organized a specialized training workshop for teaching assistants entitled:
“Fundamentals of Rodent Handling and Blood Sampling for Serum Collection and Preservation.”
The workshop aimed to equip participants with essential skills for the safe handling of laboratory animals (rodents), as well as hands-on training in blood sampling techniques and methods for serum collection and preservation, contributing to improved laboratory practices and research quality.
The workshop witnessed notable engagement from participants, who praised its practical value and emphasized the importance of organizing more hands-on training programs to further develop their research and practical skills.
This initiative reflects the Department’s commitment to enhancing practical training and aligning academic preparation with modern research demands.
