Mansoura National University Organizes a Fun Day for Orphaned Children at Al-Masaei Al-Khairiya Islamic Charity Association
In alignment with Mansoura National University’s community mission and its pioneering role in promoting human values and social responsibility—and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of the University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Elsheikh, Director of the Pharm D – Clinical Pharmacy Program and Director of the University’s Entrepreneurship Center—
the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a fun day for orphaned children at the Al-Masaei Al-Khairiya Islamic Charity Association for Orphan Care.
The event was jointly organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee and the Scientific Committee at the Faculty. It featured a variety of engaging activities and recreational games designed to bring joy and smiles to the children’s faces, along with offering psychological and emotional support. Gifts, toys, and sweets were also distributed to create an atmosphere of happiness and celebration.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Elsheikh emphasized that organizing such initiatives reflects the University’s commitment to its social mission and its dedication to instilling values of compassion, generosity, and empathy among students—fostering their social awareness and strengthening their sense of cooperation and humanity.
This fun day comes as part of the University’s continuous efforts to build bridges of communication with civil society organizations and to support the most vulnerable groups, reinforcing its position as a leading academic institution that harmonizes scientific excellence with active community engagement.
